As a child, I had plastic surgery after a car accident. At that time, most plastic surgeons had no experience with black skin, so the job that was done–although professional and top of the line back then–turned out bad because the techniques were not advanced. To fix the mistake today would cost over $15,000–a small car! I can afford it, but am too afraid of the results!
