When I was young and idealistic I thought the same. I have since experienced extreme ageism in the workplace and underestimated how bad I would feel losing my looks. I have no doubt my surgery has extended my working life by about 15 years and I feel great too. I can’t personally see anything wrong with it – everyone has the right to decide for themselves. Find a way to abolish ageism and I’ll have a re-think….in the meantime???? I think she looks great!
subjecting healthy people to unnecessary surgery is violation of Hippocratic oath “first do no harm”
this business is all about insecure, vulnerable patients filling surgeons’ pockets with money. what kind of self confidence can you obtain from having your flesh carved up and rearranged? not anything deeper than superficial, for sure. this should be outlawed except for cases of gross disfigurement or to improve function from birth defect, trauma or disease.
